In addition to all that, Mom also grew gorgeous roses, kept the lawn mowed, cleaned the house top to bottom, and found time to sit in front of the fireplace and read. She loved to read. One day I came home from school and found Mom asleep in front of the fireplace, feet propped up on the hearth, book open on her lap, the bottoms of her Keds melted and curled down like little frowns.

I lost my mom in 2003 but she taught me that happiness was more important than material things. I miss her everyday and wish I could pick up the phone and talk to her.

my mother wasn't the best or the happiest during my childhood, but she tried to make up for it in my adulthood, it is still a work in progress.
I love my mom very much. She has always been there for us. Rasing us working out of the home and at home after she get off work.

There is not enough space here to tell you all the reasons I love my mom. I can tell you though that she is one of a kind and generous to a fault. Always the giver and thinking of others. :-)
