This scene is being narrated by Stevie-girl, my thirteen year old protag who has just found something--or someone--strange in her bathroom mirror:
When I opened my eyes again, I almost
screamed. The reflection in the mirror
was looking away from me. It was looking toward the door.
My
flesh tried to crawl off my bones.
The
face in the mirror, the one that should have been mine but somehow wasn’t,
slowly turned back toward me. Then she began to twist and twirl-about like a runaway kite caught in a whirlwind.
Okay, that's all for now. Hope you check back next Sunday for another snippet. If you want to read some more juicy excerpts from other authors, just go here: http://www.sixsunday.com/

Wow, that description was SO effective! and then the image turning like that gave me chills. Terrific six!
*Chills* Very cool, Ann. You do such a wonderful job of painting words, so we can visualize them.
Ann - Looking forward to reading both of your new novels!
Thanks, Deanna, I've been so busy on edits, I didn't even have time to read any other blogs today...I'm so glad you stopped by!
Thanks, Veronica. It would scare me if that happened LOL.
That's very sweet of you to say, Carmen. Thanks =)
Ohhhh, I looove paranormal's. Even if this isn't, the fact that a reflection is looking in the opposite direction gave me goosebumps, or as in the words of your protag... made the flesh crawl off my bones!
LOVE IT!
Great 6!
As always... lol.
Oh, thanks, Linda! Yes, it's paranormal. I'm so glad you liked this little snippet. More to follow!
