My Poetry

To Still Have You

To have a house at the shore
And be bathed in white salt
To stroll past sudden dunes of old seaweed
Greened and blackened by the sun

To romp in thicker air
‘Neath heaviest clouds of gray-blue
And to have no shackles on my time

To have all this
And to still have you
Might be to know joy
At least for awhile

Happy Anniversary

Once upon a time
one man and one woman
us
Forever

Bench

In the middle of a field
a bench
Who rests there, I wonder
